# Labels

> Mark people as Trainee, On probation, Event team and more.

Labels mark people, such as **Trainee** or **On probation**. They show above people's names on team view cards, and in the grid's **Labels** column.

## Create a label

Open **Settings › Labels** and click **Add label**. Name it and pick a colour.

## Give someone a label

Click the **+** above their name on a team view's card, then pick the label.

Deleting a label takes it off everyone who has it.
